Amplifying the Power of Youth Voice

Thank you for being part of the League of Education Voters (LEV) community!

Students across Washington state are back in school, and the League of Education Voters (LEV) Field Team has begun our annual interviews with students, families, educators, and community leaders across Washington state to help gain an understanding of funding challenges throughout the state and how it is impacting our K-12 system and our communities.

And speaking of students, don't miss our free Youth Advocacy Summit on Saturday, October 26th at the Renton Pavilion Events Center and on Zoom. It's an event for youth by youth, co-hosted by LEV, Community Center for Education Results (CCER), and a team of youth partners from across the state. This year's theme is A Student Survival Guide for Advocacy in Uncertain Times

Alongside our youth partners, we invite students, parents, educators, leaders, and members of the community to come listen, learn, and participate in the events that students are putting on. Learn from their experiences at school. See what issues they are passionate about. Listen to and honor their hopes for the future. Whether you are a young person yourself or another member of the community, we invite you to join us as we hear from students, families, and community members. You can register here.
