The 2020 Election and Advocating for Equity in the 2020-21 School Year

As this unprecedented school year unfolds as mostly remote learning across Washington state, students, parents, and educators are stretched. And we acknowledge the ongoing injustices endured by the Black community and other communities of color.

Here at League of Education Voters, our Policy team is continuing its work with partners on tracking the use of federal CARES Act funds and district reopening plans and advocacy opportunities.

Also, the Field team is finishing interviews and listening sessions to inform our agenda for the 2021 state legislative session. We look forward to finalizing our legislative priorities next month.

And Election Day is just around the corner. You should have received your ballot by now, and we encourage you to vote if you haven't already.
