How Is Education Funding Helping Students in Washington State?

Thank you for being part of the League of Education Voters (LEV) community!

Summer is a busy time for us. The LEV Field Team is beginning annual interviews with students, families, educators, and community leaders across Washington state to inform our 2025 Legislative Platform, with a focus on equitable education funding. The LEV Policy Team managed the July 9 youth-led Superintendent of Public Instruction candidate forum that featured all three major candidates for state superintendent – incumbent Chris Reykdal and challengers Reid Saaris and David Olson, and is finalizing our much-anticipated Education Funding Project Report. Watch for it during the week of August 5th.

And speaking of releases, our 2023-24 annual report is coming soon!

Please vote in the Washington state primary election on August 6th. If you have not yet registered to vote, you can register here.
