Build a brighter future for Washington students in 2019

As the year comes to a close, we're looking ahead to big possibilities in 2019. League of Education Voters just released our 2019 legislative agenda and today we're sharing it with you. Our agenda outlines what we'll be fighting for come January.

Because of you, special needs funding and safe schools will have a seat at the table. Our team of policy experts is ready to bring solutions for stable K-12 funding based on student need for all districts and put a stop to failed construction levies. And we'll work to make sure there is access to mental health services for students in every school building.

We're ready to fight for a better future for Washington public school students, but we need your help. This year, an anonymous donor has pledged $15,000 to match every single donation we receive before December 31st. Help us take advantage of this generous gift by donating today.

Your gift will go immediately to support our 2019 advocacy agenda and help create an education system that puts students first.

Friend, will you donate $25, $75 or $150 today to support this work in 2019?

Sincerely,
Arik Korman

Celebrating Washington state's 2019 Teachers of the Year

We asked the 2019 State Teacher of the Year and the Regional Teachers of the Year about their classroom philosophy, what advice they would give a new teacher, and what they want the Washington state Legislature to prioritize in the upcoming 2019 session. Help us celebrate Washington state's 2019 Teachers of the Year and hear what they have to say.
